Enjoy.

Chorus
Notes: This is a loose guideline. Sometimes, Trey plays them as power
chords, in the studio version, he sometimes arrpegiated them a bit, and
I've also heard him hit the low note of the chord and then the chord, etc.
But these are always the positions he plays the chords in that I've heard/ seen.

I didn't sleep once for four days and three nights

A chord type 1(noodled)
I once didn't stop for seven red lights

B chord type 1(noodled)
I jumped into water that's fifty degrees
I've rowed in a kayak in thirty-foot seas
I've stayed in the woods for a week with a knife

A chord type 1(noodled)
A flint, when I lost it, nearly cost me my life

(Chorus) Now regular barré Chords
         B(7th Fret) G(3rd Fret) A(5th Fret)
It's a small world, but it's turning real fast (We're upside down)

         B(7th Fret)G(3rd Fret) A(5th Fret) E(2nd Fret not barred)
It's a small world, but we all start out small

(All the same for the next verse too)

I hurdle through air though i feel i'm alone,
I stick with the others to the skin of the stone
I stop for a stranger just to give him a lift
I cling like a lizard to the side of the cliff
I treat every minute like an hour and then,
It seems like a year has flashed by again
We build a foundation but where do we stand
When all air is water and all water is land
Twenty years later, i'm still upside down

(chorus)
and it's a small world, and it's turning real fast
(we're upside down)
It's a new day, and the morning has passed
(turned upside down)
It's a short road, but the mountains are tall
(Land upside down)
It's a small world, and we all start out small

(Then the breakdown-maybe I'll get to this part tomorrow if no one beats me to it. It's past my bedtime!)

Thanks and have phun!!!!
First off, I'd like to comment about this song in particular. Twenty Years Later is in my opinion the finest studio
recording Phish has ever done.

Based on the studio version here are a couple of small changes:

Verse - Arpeggio or fingerpick the verses. I believe these chords are correct.

Chorus chords - can either strum or fingerpick, both sound nice. I use traditional chord formations here.

       B G A E
It's a small world, but we all start out small
