From Emil's Tablature
by Trey Anastasio and Tom Marshall

I've been playing Bug since I got the Tom and Trey Demo Tape.
This version is different from their live one. It requires mucho
sustain. This is how I get the Trey-esque sustain for this song:
Ross Compressor->TS9 (Light Crunch)->Ibanez DMD2000 Delay (.33ms).
The light delay gives each note a searing/sonic sound. It also helps
to sustain the notes.
Problems: I'm having problems trying to figure out the EXACT chords to
the chorus. Also, I don't know the exact words used in the chorus.
Someone is saying something ("Don't need it) in harmony with "It
doesn't matter.". All summer it sounded like "Der-E-ned."
Intro:
Use distorition to get some feedback. Turn on your Univibe
to get the rotation sound and then whip it off before going to
the verse chords

Verse:
Whether Trey plays these notes as power chords or not is debateable.
You can either play them this way or just play the notes on G string.

Lyrics:
Verse 1:
There've been times that I've wondered
And times that I don't
Concepts I'll ponder
And concepts I won't ever see
God is not one of these
Former or latter
Which did you think I meant
It doesn't matter to me
Chorus:
Bug
It doesn't matter
(Don't need it)
Bug
It doesn't matter
(Don't feed it)
Bug
(My thoughts faded)
It doesn't matter
(Overrated)

Verse 2:
Gold in my hand
In a country pool
Standing and waving
The rain, wind on the runway
Spending or saving
Credit or death
Which did you think I meant
Nothing I see can be taken from me
Chorus:
Bug
It doesn't matter
(Don't need it)
